By attending an Australian Submission Grappling Association ("ASGA") event, you agree to adhere to the following: 

1. All competitors are to wear footwear off the mat. 

2. All competitors are not to wear footwear on the mat- wrestling shoes, etc.

3. Antisocial conduct-  harassment, intimidation, or threats to violence- will result in removal from the event and potential banning from future events. 

4. Competitors under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be prohibited from competing.

5. Competitors must ensure that long hair is tied up, finger/toenails are trimmed, and staining makeup is not worn. 

6. Competitors will be disqualified should they be found to have transferable skin conditions- ringworm, staph.  

*Competitors that have a skin condition developed after the cancellation date ends will receive a 100% refund with a doctor's note provided*   

7.  Athletes that have competed in amateur MMA, college/ national wrestling, or are Judo black belts must not compete at the white belt level.

8. Competitors have the discretion to register to a higher division upon emailing [email protected].

9. Seniors/Masters will be moved to the adult division based on division size. 

10. Males must wear rashguards and shorts- with no pockets- must be worn for No-gi; no t-shirts or baggy clothes are accepted. 

Females are not required to wear shorts; spats are acceptable 

10. Rashguards/Gi's will not be checked prior to competing, but the staff has the discretion to require competitors to change gear should the gear not fit properly, smells/looks dirty, has tears, or is wet. 

11. It is optional to wear a rashguard beneath the gi. 

12. Injury/ soft pads can be worn; pads with plastic are forbidden. 

13. Wrestling headgear is acceptable; no other head covering can be worn when competing. 

14. Competing athletes must not wear, jewelry, groin protectors, and socks.

15. Competitors may use thin sporting tape; referees can require competitors to remove the tape should it break during competition.
