*Should an under-18 compete in the adult's division, the permissible techniques of the adult belt class are followed.*

POINTS:

Takedowns = 2 points 

Throws = 3-5 points 

*Throw points are based on amplitude and quality of technique*

Body-triangle= 4 points

Back Mount (hooks)= 4 points

Mount= 4 points

Guard Pass= 3 points

Sweep= 2 points

Knee on Belly= 2 points

FOULS: 

Major fouls will result in disqualification. 

Minor fouls are given three warnings. 

MAJOR FOULS:

1.  Small joint manipulation, biting, striking, spitting, or poking eyes/genitals results in immediate disqualification. 

2. Using non-permissible techniques results in disqualification or attempting to influence an opponent to do the same results in disqualification. 

3. Intentionally disobeying the referee's instructions results in disqualification.

4. Applying lubricant to the skin to reduce friction results in disqualification.

5. Competing with a skin infection results in disqualification.

6. Should a competitor's uniform become damaged and they are unable to exchange it immediately, the competitor is disqualified.

MINOR FOULS:

1. Guard pulling without gripping the opponent, will result in a penalty and the match restarted standing. 

2. Failure to adhere to the referee's instructions results in a penalty.

3. Pulling the opponent's No-gi attire results in a penalty.

4. Placing hands inside an opponent's Gi attire results in a penalty. 

5. Unintentional reaping in the adult white belt or kids division results in a penalty. 

6. Intentional pushing/ forcing the action out of bounds results in a penalty.

7. Stalling/disengaging results in a penalty.

8. Attempting to continue the action out of bounds after the referee has stopped the action will result in two points being awarded to the other competitor; this excludes rolling out of leg locks.
